Magic Box Theatre

Magic Box provides a small show setting in a three week rehearsal period.
2013 Show: Disney's CINDERELLA Directed by Eli Newsom from the Bridgeport Theatre Company
Registration is required and will take place on Tuesday, May 21 & Wednesday, May 22 from 3:30 - 6:00 PM in the Fairfield Woods Middle School Auditorium. Auditionees should prepare a song about 1 minute in length from Cinderella or any other short Disney Song. Important Audition Information
Rehearsals take place Monday - Friday from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM beginning Monday, July 1 at the Fairfield Woods Middle School Auditorium.
Performance Dates: July 19 & 20 at 8:00PM and July 21 at 2:00 PM at the Fairfield Woods Middle School Auditorium. Tickets are $15.00 for Adults and $12.00 for Seniors and Students and sold at the door.
A Broadway Show trip to New York City, a Fourth of July pie sale, program advertising and car wash are planned for Magic Box participants. Fundraising requirement for Magic Box is $200 per participant. Fundraising requirement for Back Stage and Orchestra participants is $100 per person. (If a returning teen did not fulfill last summer’s financial commitment, inclusion will only be granted once payment has been secured for this season in full by July 1.)
We believe it is valuable for teens to understand the financial part of producing theatre. The three fund-raisers are requirements and each participant must meet the minimum fundraising goal. Participants may choose to pay the minimum amount rather than participate in the fundraisers. All fundraising obligations must be met prior to the performances.
