The Fairfield Parks & Recreation Department is responsible for overseeing and maintaining 170 acres of parks, 5 miles of beaches, 36 playing fields, 2 golf courses, 2 marinas, a Fitness Center, 31 asphalt tennis courts, a har-tru Tennis Center, 3 picnic areas, 2 waterfront banquet facilities and beach front pavilion.
