The Penfield Pavilion Complex located at 323 Fairfield Beach Road boasts the best beach in Town. The fully handicapped accessible facility has a large covered deck, locker rentals, picnic tables, grills and playground equipment on site. Lifeguards are on duty from Memorial Day weekend until Labor Day. (Weekends only early June and Late August).
There is no better place to hold that “special occasion” than at one of its two waterfront banquet facilities: The Penfield Pavilion (which has just undergone a complete renovation) and the Jacky Durrell Pavilion.
The Penfield Beach Café is well-known for its great snack foods and gourmet entrees. A private business, The Beach Café is usually open 7 days a week 11am - 9pm, weather dependent, from Mid-May to Mid-September. For more information call (203)-256-9927
There is a charge for parking at the beach from Memorial Day Weekend to Labor Day Weekend. From 10am until 8pm, cars without a Town Beach Sticker will be charged $15.00 per car on weekdays and $25.00 on weekends.
